Comments on Summer of Red Rain from the 24th Annual Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book AwardsDecember 15, 2016
“Judge,, 24th Annual Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards.”
This author has a good voice. The character, Samuel is very believable. At his age, with the idealization of war in his mind, one could see how difficult it would be for him not to disobey his parents to see what is happening around him.
This book is well-written. Children will get a sense of history while they are enjoying the story.
